What weather to expect in Armenia

The climate of Armenia is varies depending on the altitude. You can expect dry subtropical weather in lowlands and tundra climate in mountains. Generally it can be said, that the climate is highland continental with hot summers and cold winters.

When you read about the number of mm of rainfall, you should know this: Light rain is when the precipitation rate is less than 2.5 mm (0.1 in) per hour.
